Gingrich Campaign Admits Newt Lied During the CNN Debate with John King
Shocker… Newt making a stupid mistake… that never happens.
After nearly a week on the defensive, CNN’s John King reports tonight that Newt Gingrich’sclaim about offering witnesses to ABC News in his defense — to rebut the network’s interview with his second wife, Marianne Gingrich — was not true.
Gingrich tanked last time he was the frontrunner partly because of stupid mistakes. Only real question is whether his mistakes tank him before he’s able to secure the nomination, hanging it to Romney, or after, handing the Oval Office to Obama.
